Our Land for the Future Trust: 2025–26 Annual Report
Our Land for the Future Trust released a report documenting its first year of operations and its $18,395,700 investment in Indigenous-led conservation and stewardship in the Northwest Territories. The funds were distributed directly to Indigenous partners to support their ambitions for caring for lands and waters and creating sustainable economic opportunities.

NWT Our Land for the Future FINAL Agreement
On November 14, 2024, a groundbreaking agreement was signed in Behchokǫ̀, Northwest Territories, showcasing a new partnership between 22 Indigenous Governments, the Canadian Government, the Government of the Northwest Territories, and private donors. The initiative will enable $375 million to support Indigenous-led conservation, stewardship, and economic development across the Northwest Territories.
